UKATA CPD Certified Non-licensed Asbestos work including NNLW (formerly known as Category B)
Who is it for?
Over 95% of all materials containing asbestos fall into the category of lower risk / non-licensed materials. The course will be of particular interest to those within any industry sector with a direct responsibility to work with or remove non-licensed asbestos materials.
Aims
To allow candidates to undertake non-licensed asbestos works in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and all associated Codes of Practice.

Course Content
Approved by UKATA (United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association), delivered over a one and a half day course uses a series of written and oral presentations, group and individual practical exercises, and case studies to provide relevant knowledge, skills and understanding about asbestos.

Module 2: Asbestos in Buildings
Module 3: Health Effects of Asbestos
Module 4: Legislation, including the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012
Module 5: Non-licensed Asbestos Removal essential/practical tasks
