24-Hour Call Centre
Our 24-hour call centre provides advice during emergency situations with clear escalation procedures in order to contain developing incidents.
An immediate response includes:
- Collation of information from key personnel / contractors involved in the incident
- Gaining an accurate location for the area of concern
- Assessing levels of damage / disturbance
- Reviewing the asbestos records to evaluate risk
- Provide advice on immediate actions to contain / isolate area
Reactive emergency site response
Along with a 24 Hour Call Centre, Life Environmental provides a round-the-clock site response service to deal with emergencies involving the unforeseen, uncontrolled releases of asbestos.
We manage your emergency resource requirements from a central hub from which only the highest standard of site resource is deployed from our national pool of Consultants.
An immediate response may include the mobilisation of support partners to assist with immediate remedial requirements, our emergency team is experienced in co-ordinating these activities.
Our fully trained consultants will ensure that immediate control measures are effective and undertake any material and air testing required on site. All responses are fully documented and are communicated effectively, including liaison with internal stakeholders and external bodies.
Any response to an incident is clearly documented to allow our industry professionals to assist with any subsequent incident investigation. Our experienced consultants liaise closely with organisations to determine preventative solutions that avoid re-occurrences of the issue.
