Life Environmental is UKAS accredited to ISO/IEC 17020 for both Asbestos Reinspection’s and Priority Risk Assessments. Asbestos Re-inspection Surveys form a key part of the Duty Holder’s ongoing responsibilities under Regulation 4 (Duty to Manage) of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

Where asbestos containing materials (ACMs) have previously been identified, the regulations require their condition to be monitored to ensure they remain in a safe and manageable condition. This is typically achieved through periodic re-inspection, usually undertaken every 6–12 months depending on risk.
