Proud to announce our continued Legionella Control Association membership

Life Environmental Services are proud to announce its continued Legionella Control Association (LCA) membership.

The LCA is a voluntary organisation whose membership comprises providers of services and products concerned with the control of legionella bacteria in water systems. The primary aim is to keep water systems safe and minimise the risk of cases of Legionnaires' disease caused by poorly maintained systems.

Members sign up to a recommended Code of Conduct concerned with controlling the risk of legionella with the specific objective of raising standards in the control of legionella bacteria in water systems. To demonstrate compliance each service provider draws up a statement of compliance addressing each commitment and to establish and maintain appropriate management systems for the services offered associated with the control of Legionella.

Membership is voluntary but is seen across the industry as increasingly important in demonstrating a commitment to high standards of service.
