Life Environmental Services has released details of a major investment in its Information Systems infrastructure.
A sum in excess of £200,000 has been spent across a full range of data capture, reporting and communication tools/systems.
This comprehensive development initiative has included the introduction of advanced tablet technology for all of its field-based surveyors which utilise the latest, real-time, web-based document and data management software.
The company is also rolling out its new 'Life Online' portal-based compliance management system - fully accesible by clients for a clear, ongoing view of their companies' compliance status.
Mark Harrison, the company's Business Services Director comments; 'This significant investment has enabled the business to take its next step forward in innovative technology and we are already feeling the benefit across the company. In addition to improving the speed, accuracy and efficiency of our daily activities it has increased the transparency of our operations and enabled our clients to have a greater overview of the activities we are carrying out on their behalf'.
Life Environmental has also launched a new corporate website.
