Life Environmental is one of the UK’s leading environmental compliance consultancies.  With regional offices throughout the UK, we have considerable technical capability in areas of asbestos management, consultancy, surveying and inspection, project management, waste management, water hygiene, air monitoring, risk assessment and training.  We work with some of the countries leading retailers and household names.


ANALYST

Main Duties:

  • Airborne fibre sampling
  • Fibre counting
  • Undertake four stage clearance inspection
  • Undertake clearance air testing
  • Undertake reassurance, background, leak and personal monitoring
  • Project Management
  • Timely monthly quality control checks
  • Monthly reporting of exposure record
  • Monthly reporting of RPE inspections
  • Ensuring all equipment is calibrated
  • Completion of certificates in accordance with guidance and company procedure.
  • Comply with quality manual / procedures
  • Comply with Health and Safety procedures
  • Knowledge and Experience
  • P403 Certificate or equivilent
  • P404  Certificate or equivilent
  • Minimum of 1 year post-examination experience of air sampling, testing and 4 stage clearance

SURVEYOR

Main Duties:

  • Building inspection management, refurbishment and demolition
  • Complete monthly control records
  • Monthly reporting of RPE inspections
  • Maintenance of tool kit to specified level detailed in HSG264
  • Sampling in accordance with HSG264 and Quality Manual
  • Record data accurately using electronic data capture equipment
  • Record sample information on sample bags and sample labels
  • Record sample data and extent onto plans
  • Check plans against electronic data
  • Ensure all samples taken are given to the laboratory for analysing
  • Upload electronic data and photographs daily
  • Check all locations are photographed
  • Check report accuracy
  • Comply with company Health and Safety procedures
  • Comply with procedures in accordance with the quality manual.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • P402 Certificate or equivilent
  • Minimum of 1 year post-examination experience essential
  • Project Management experience would be an advantage
